“We all long for love, for peace, for creativity, for family and community, talents and disciplines that make us whole human beings. Unfortunately, our society’s leaders do not listen to what the people want…We’re finally waking up to the fact that the ideas and paradigms running our world no longer fit our needs; in fact, they reject our vision and our needs. So it is time for each of us to take responsibility for the story of our lives. The old story that is passing away is the story that taught us that we needed to be free. The new story is about what we plan to do with our freedom. It begins within your own psyche. Are you in or are you out? Can you open up your crown chakra to Spirit and listen to the original story of your soul? Can you let your inner guidance help you create your new life? Can you free yourself from the fear and insecurity patriarchy is trying to feed us? If you do, you can play in the Quantum Field and start creating that new life that the world needs so very much. “ ~Cathy Pagano

“It’s dark because you are trying too hard. Lightly child, lightly. Learn to do everything lightly. Yes, feel lightly even though you’re feeling deeply. Just lightly let things happen and lightly cope with them. I was so preposterously serious in those days, such a humorless little prig. Lightly, lightly – it’s the best advice ever given me. When it comes to dying even. Nothing ponderous, or portentous, or emphatic. No rhetoric, no tremolos, no self conscious persona putting on its celebrated imitation of Christ or Little Nell. And of course, no theology, no metaphysics. Just the fact of dying and the fact of the clear light. So throw away your baggage and go forward. There are quicksands all about you, sucking at your feet, trying to suck you down into fear and self-pity and despair. That’s why you must walk so lightly. Lightly my darling, on tiptoes and no luggage, not even a sponge bag, completely unencumbered.” ~Aldous Huxley

Birmingham, UK has found itself with a real live superhero all its own. One anonymous 20-year-old man dons a Spiderman suit every night to deliver meals to local homeless people. “Before when I was handing out food, no one would take a second look,” the anonymous superhero, who is a bartender by day, told Huffpost. “But when they see Spider-Man handing out the food they come over and ask what I’m doing and are really interested. Most importantly [they] become inspired to get involved themselves.“
