Powerful words of wisdom shared by the late Sioux Elder, Floyd “Red Crow” Westerman. We are the consumers in this world: what we do not buy, does not sell. Time to take back our power from those choosing to destroy this beautiful planet. What we allow is what will continue. Enough.
“We do not become healers. We came as healers. We are. Some of us are still catching up to what we are. We do not become storytellers. We came as carriers of the stories we and our ancestors actually lived. We are. Some of us are still catching up to what we are. We do not become artists. We came as artists. We are. Some of us are still catching up to what we are. We do not become writers.. dancers.. musicians.. helpers.. peacemakers. We came as such. We are. Some of us are still catching up to what we are. We do not learn to love in this sense. We came as Love. We are Love. Some of us are still catching up to who we truly are.” ~ Clarissa Pinkola Estes

“Can anything be more ridiculous than that a man should have the right to kill me because he lives on the other side of the water, and because his ruler has a quarrel with mine, though I have none with him?” ~ Blaise Pascal
“Everybody’s you- Everybody’s “I” – we all share that. So there’s nothing to worry about in that sense. But if you know that in your heart of hearts, obviously the only strategy that’s worth anything at all is not to chop everything up…but to love everybody.” ~ Alan Watts
“Your world is an illusion. From the day you were born, you have been conditioned. Your schools taught you to be quiet, neutral and numb. Your media desensitized you to the suffering of your fellow human beings and the system slowly isolated you until it somehow felt normal to feel alone on a planet with 8 billion other people on it. You worked hard for the future with your reward always just around the next corner or just up the next step. Everything was tomorrow but tomorrow never came. And you realized too late that you had never lived at all. Something was missing and no matter how much you worked, partied or paid you could not disguise it. You accepted it as natural for one to be wealthy whilst another is poor, or the absurd notion that we must pay back the debt of our own existence. We traded community culture for corporate comfort and our most precious resource, our time, as a commodity. We need to move beyond revolution and into the next stage of human evolution. A time marked by unparalleled compassion and peaceful co-existence. The shape of which we can not foresee as it must be created together. We will take no power back as we shall empower ourselves and we shall say: We are the humans. We are awake now. We reclaim our destiny.” ~ Anonymous

“No society wants you to become wise: it is against the investment of all societies. If people are wise they cannot be exploited. If they are intelligent they cannot be subjugated, they cannot be forced in a mechanical life, to live like robots. They will assert their individuality. They will have the fragrance of rebellion around them. They will like to live in freedom. Freedom comes with wisdom, intrinsically. They are inseparable, and no society wants people to be free. The communist society, the fascist society, the capitalist society, the Hindu, the Mohammedan, the Christian — no society — would like people to use their own intelligence because the moment they start using their intelligence they become dangerous — dangerous to the establishment, dangerous to the people who are in power, dangerous to the ‘haves’; dangerous to all kinds of oppression, exploitation, suppression; dangerous to the churches, dangerous to the states, dangerous to the nations. In fact, a wise man is afire, alive, aflame. But he cannot sell his life, he cannot serve them. He would like rather to die than to be enslaved.” ~Osho

Judge Napolitano speaking the truth about America’s two party system. It ultimately cost him his job, but well worth the cost I’d say and it’s inspiring that more and more people are willing to take that risk in the name of truth.
“This country assumes that if someone is poor, they are poor because of their own individual blight, or because they weren’t born on the right side of town, or they had too many children, or went in the army too early, or because their father was a drunk, or they didn’t care about school–they made a mistake. That’s a lot of nonsense. Poverty is well calculated in this country, and the reason why the poverty program won’t work is because the calculators of poverty are administering it.” ~ Stokely Carmichael (1966)

A great short video with a powerful message from Terence McKenna. Time to unplug from the system and stop playing their game. Let’s create our own narrative rather than the one that has been handed to us. We can do better and we deserve better!
“Take time together, to look at the obstacles, the fear, the pervasive places in your consciousness where yet you believe that a patriarchal consciousness is ‘still’ your authority and is ‘still’ the authority of the world. Look not to see who sits in the seats of your government. Remember the power is not out there unless you give it away.” ~The Jeshua Transcripts: The Divine Feminine
