Never surrender.

“Every morning when I wake up I say, ‘I’ll never be as young as I am today. Today is the youngest day of the rest of my life. Get up and do something fun.” – Rochelle Ford, 76 year-old Metal Sculptor

“Hatred paralyzes life; love releases it. Hatred confuses life; love harmonizes it. Hatred darkens life; love illuminates it.” ~ Martin Luther King Jr.

“Under every full moon, memories stir of the dreamers we were.” ~Robert Brault

Happy Full Moon! May your path be clearly illuminated.
“I come from the side of disobedience, from the side of those that decide to follow their hearts. It is the way of the warriors, poets, and the crazy. They say that I am crazy. They say that I am crazy because I believe that to lose the reasoning is the pathway toward the heart. Because I believe that life is a work of art in eternal movement— the perfect synchronicity, the living beauty, the poem of love that never ends. I believe that life evolves according to what we see. If I change the way I see things, things begin to change . . . For we are the canvas, the paintings, and the artist.” ~Santiago Pando

The average restaurant produces about 100,000 lbs of garbage per year. That is 273 lbs a day! Luckily, there are people like Justin Vrany showing us that it is possible to do things sustainably. He brings a high level of consciousness to running his restaurant called Sandwich Me In, which produces ZERO waste. Amazing! Love this!!

“The plain fact is that the planet does not need more “successful” people. But it does desperately need more peacemakers, healers, restorers, storytellers, and lovers of every shape and form. It needs people who live well in their places. It needs people of moral courage willing to join the fight to make the world habitable and humane. And these needs have little to do with success as our culture has defined it.” ~ David Orr

“You go to school and try really hard so that you can get into a good college, and then you try really hard at college to get a good job, and then you try really hard at your job, so you can make money. And then your kids do the same thing. And everyone just keeps on doing this and no one even stops to think WHY they’re doing it anymore.” ~Dylan, 12 years old
