Very disappointed, if not surprised that late last night President Barack Obama signed H.R. 933, which contained the Monsanto Protection Act into law. Yet another example that the government is run by corporations and does not have our best interest at heart. Do you think Obama would be comfortable with his own children consuming GMO’s? Considering they are banned at the White House as well as in Monsanto’s own cafeteria, I guess we know the answer to that one.

“You can only become truly accomplished at something you love. Don’t make money your goal. Instead, pursue the things you love doing, and then do them so well that people can’t take their eyes off you.” ~Maya Angelou

“Money has never made man happy, nor will it; There is nothing in its nature to produce happiness. The more of it one has, the more one wants.”

~Benjamin Franklin

Trust in the Universe

Trust in the Universe

“To trust in the force that moves the universe is faith. Faith isn’t blind, it’s visionary. Faith is believing that the universe is on our side, and that the universe knows what it’s doing. Faith is a psychological awareness of an unfolding force for good, constantly at work in all dimensions. Our attempts to direct this force only interferes with it. Our willingness to relax into it allows it to work on our behalf. Without faith, we’re frantically trying to control what it is not our business to control, and fix what is not in our power to fix. What we’re trying to control is much better off without us, and what we’re trying to fix can’t be fixed by us anyway. Without faith, we’re wasting time.”

~Marianne Williamson, A Return to Love

“The unreal is more powerful than the real. Because nothing is as perfect as you can imagine it. Because its only intangible ideas, concepts, beliefs, fantasies that last. Stone crumbles. Wood rots. People, well, they die. But things as fragile as a thought, a dream, a legend, they can go on and on. If you can change the way people think. The way they see themselves. The way they see the world. You can change the way people live their lives. That’s the only lasting thing you can create.” ~Chuck Palahniuk
