“Nobody can say anything about you. Whatsoever people say is about themselves. But you become very shaky, because you are still clinging to a false center. That false center depends on others, so you are always looking to what people are saying about you. And you are always following other people, you are always trying to satisfy them. You are always trying to be respectable, you are always trying to decorate your ego. This is suicidal. Rather than being disturbed by what others say, you should start looking inside yourself…

“The care of the Earth is our most ancient and most worthy, and after all our most pleasing responsibility. To cherish what remains of it and to foster its renewal is our only hope for survival.” ~Wendell Berry
Occupy your neighborhood.
There are lots of ways to Occupy your Neighborhood. Support your local businesses, buy locally grown food, help your neighbors, and participate and give back to your community in whatever way you can. Even small acts of kindness can make a big difference. Strengthening our communities will prove to be invaluable as the old system falls apart. And who wouldn’t want to live in a vibrant, caring community where everyone looks out for one another?

One small thing all of us can do on our way to a beautiful new world: spread a little LOVE to others whenever the opportunity arises. That very moment, the love comes back to you as well. Can you feel it?

“I dream of a beautiful, happy world where everyone is friends and fighting becomes a rarity… So what do I do to help make this happen? I believe the small things we do, can have a positive impact on everyone and everything around us and find smiling and wishing a good day to the people we meet can be amazing!
Doing this makes me love the community I live in, especially when they wish a good day in return ♥ it helps that person behind the check-out counter in the local shop have a brighter day, because they’ve had a pleasant customer that’s acknowledged their existence. If they’re wearing a name badge I’ll use their name to greet them with, which makes it a personal greeting to them. It even has a positive impact on the next time I meet that person, as they are more likely to remember me and be friendly.
I’ve made many friends in my local community by doing this; many stop me in the street to have a chat, which is lovely. I’ve learnt so much from the people I’ve met; including other languages and fantastic recipes. The best thing about this is that it all came from that initial smile followed by a greeting for a good morning and the wish of a lovely day.
Please have a good day everyone, be that person you’d like to be friends with and don’t forget to smile :-)” -Mo Taylor
Follow your heart. It knows the way that is right for you.
