“Nature loves courage. You make the commitment and nature will respond to that commitment by removing impossible obstacles. Dream the impossible dream and the world will not grind you under, it will lift you up. This is the trick. This is what all these teachers and philosophers who really counted, who really touched the alchemical gold, this is what they understood. This is the shamanic dance in the waterfall. This is how magic is done. By hurling yourself into the abyss and discovering it’s a feather bed.” ~Terence McKenna

Don't lose courage

“Nobody can say anything about you. Whatsoever people say is about themselves. But you become very shaky, because you are still clinging to a false center. That false center depends on others, so you are always looking to what people are saying about you. And you are always following other people, you are always trying to satisfy them. You are always trying to be respectable, you are always trying to decorate your ego. This is suicidal. Rather than being disturbed by what others say, you should start looking inside yourself…

Whenever you are self-conscious you are simply showing that you are not conscious of the self at all. You don’t know who you are. If you had known, then there would have been no problem— then you are not seeking opinions. Then you are not worried what others say about you— it is irrelevant! When you are self-conscious you are in trouble. When you are self-conscious you are really showing symptoms that you don’t know who you are. Your very self-consciousness indicates that you have not come home yet.”

Occupy your neighborhood.

Occupy your neighborhood. There are lots of ways to do this. Support your local businesses, buy locally grown food, help your neighbors, and participate and give back to your community in whatever way you can. Even small acts of kindness can make a big difference. Strengthening our communities will prove to be invaluable as the old system falls apart. And who wouldn't want to live in a vibrant, caring community where everyone looks out for one another?

One small thing all of us can do on our way to a beautiful new world: spread a little LOVE to others whenever the opportunity arises. That very moment, the love comes back to you as well. Can you feel it?

“I dream of a beautiful, happy world where everyone is friends and fighting becomes a rarity… So what do I do to help make this happen? I believe the small things we do, can have a positive impact on everyone and everything around us and find smiling and wishing a good day to the people we meet can be amazing!

Doing this makes me love the community I live in, especially when they wish a good day in return ♥ it helps that person behind the check-out counter in the local shop have a brighter day, because they’ve had a pleasant customer that’s acknowledged their existence. If they’re wearing a name badge I’ll use their name to greet them with, which makes it a personal greeting to them. It even has a positive impact on the next time I meet that person, as they are more likely to remember me and be friendly.

I’ve made many friends in my local community by doing this; many stop me in the street to have a chat, which is lovely. I’ve learnt so much from the people I’ve met; including other languages and fantastic recipes. The best thing about this is that it all came from that initial smile followed by a greeting for a good morning and the wish of a lovely day.

Please have a good day everyone, be that person you’d like to be friends with and don’t forget to smile :-)” -Mo Taylor
