Love this quote! So much more depth — but just as much truth — as the old adage “You can lead a horse to water…”. And just as this quote implies – I had heard this song sung many times, many different ways, throughout my life — yet had to “learn” the providence of the truth behind it on my own, before I acted on it.
In line with your mission, no one will wake up until they are ready to — and sometimes “trying” to wake someone up speaks more to the individual “trying” needing their own validation, as they lie between the ever-so-tense struggle of awake and asleep…. Indeed, instructing awareness is far less effective than it is by simply making it available.
