“We’re going to meet a lot of lonely people in the next week and the next month and the next year. And when they ask us what we’re doing, you can say, We’re remembering. That’s where we’ll win out in the long run. And someday we’ll remember so much that we’ll build the biggest goddamn steamshovel in history and dig the biggest grave of all time and shove war in it and cover it up.” ~ Ray Bradbury, Fahrenheit 451

  1. When i meet others and loss, war and the so many worldly wrongs become topic: there may be some remembering, for human nature or social learning seems to make us a nostalgic species. Yet, remembering is not what i will do. Contemplating, considering and pushing toward that massive metaphorical pit in which war will be buried. Yet the thoughts to share are of those who care to stop the causes of war: greed and control; land filling war will not rid us of these. Open caring, sharing, removal of the value in profit, replacing it with value in life, it’s protection and love of it..
