“In my experience, everyone will say they want to discover the Truth, right up until they realize that the Truth will rob them of their deepest held ideas, beliefs, hopes, and dreams. The freedom of enlightenment means much more than the experience of love and peace. It means discovering a Truth that will turn your view of self and life upside-down. For one who is truly ready, this will be unimaginably liberating. But for one who is still clinging in any way, this will be extremely challenging indeed. How does one know if they are ready? One is ready when they are willing to be absolutely consumed, when they are willing to be fuel for a fire without end.” ~Adyashanti

  1. I think I’m ready. I’m certain that I will see … This world is set to change, it is those with most that shield it from that change. Even those of us with little will, I feel, face loss of things that we ‘think’ make us who we are. I know that I am not yet who I think I am. I hope to find out soon 🙂

    • I think the world is changing in ways we cannot yet fathom and massive changes are imminent. It will be life shattering and extremely difficult for many and those of us who are aware of what is happening and know how to find inner peace despite the chaos erupting around us, will be able to help others through it. I for one am so grateful to be given the gift of awakening when I was, and for the opportunity to live a new life filled with meaning and wonder. Amazing times we are headed for 🙂

      • Wonder I sometimes wonder whether I am awakening or awake? As I wonder in this theoretical dawning of a new age, if it truly is that so many people are experiencing that change being imminent. That’s this technological/Internet facilitated massive leap in worldwide communication allows the sharing of information which itself is certainly changing Global perspective, of this I am sure. Yet, I consider the people that I personally communicate with: many if not most are of spiritual, enlightened orientation. But I cannot help but wonder and compare with an analogy: if I buy a car from my neighbour who’s mother of 97 years has just died, this car has been locked in the garage for 10 years never used hardly any miles shining, I buy it because it’s such a bargain. I have never heard of this Opal whatever… yet, as soon as I start driving it around, I see many others-all over the place! Is this a saturation of personal awareness? Recognition of that which we already know? For, I have other friends who still live very much in a corporate world and have no comprehension; in fact they are eager to deny any such talk…

That said, I hope that the feeling of those who feel change is imminent is a correct feeling. For there have been many in decades, even centuries before who have stated that the laws of nature and/Or Physics dictate that these changes must come. This said, I also acknowledge that it is easier to have a new idea that it is to change old ones. I We will see…
