“Nothing in the world can take the place of persistence. Talent will not; nothing is more common than unsuccessful men with talent. Genius will not; unrewarded genius is almost a proverb. Education will not; the world is full of educated derelicts. Persistence and determination alone are omnipotent. The slogan ‘Press On’ has solved and always will solve the problems of the human race.” ~Calvin Coolidge

I must disagree. Perhaps it is so, that persistence, determination, blind (sided) vision take human kind on a continually ‘seemingly’ developing? Continuing, yes; road?
Yet consideration, communication, time.. Time ‘shared,’ time taken to do less but to do it so much better: this can solve the problems that the human race causes itself in it’s needy, greedy continual struggle for more.
Yes, but you must act. Holding the vision, and putting your energy and thoughts towards what you want to create, whatever that may be, is also extremely important. There also comes a time for guided action, and the persistence to continue in the face of whatever obstacles or resistance you meet along the way. This journey is teaching me a lot about how one actually goes about achieving their dreams. Work in progress for me…
EXCELLENT. Excellent…. & I’m talking from a position of perseverance.
