“Nothing in the world can take the place of persistence. Talent will not; nothing is more common than unsuccessful men with talent. Genius will not; unrewarded genius is almost a proverb. Education will not; the world is full of educated derelicts. Persistence and determination alone are omnipotent. The slogan ‘Press On’ has solved and always will solve the problems of the human race.” ~Calvin Coolidge

  1. I must disagree. Perhaps it is so, that persistence, determination, blind (sided) vision take human kind on a continually ‘seemingly’ developing? Continuing, yes; road?
Yet consideration, communication, time.. Time ‘shared,’ time taken to do less but to do it so much better: this can solve the problems that the human race causes itself in it’s needy, greedy continual struggle for more.

    • Yes, but you must act. Holding the vision, and putting your energy and thoughts towards what you want to create, whatever that may be, is also extremely important. There also comes a time for guided action, and the persistence to continue in the face of whatever obstacles or resistance you meet along the way. This journey is teaching me a lot about how one actually goes about achieving their dreams. Work in progress for me…
